 PARENT INVOLVEMENT

YOU KNOW BEING INVOLVED WITH YOUR CHILDREN IS VERY IMPORTANT.  THE COACHES CAN ONLY TAKE THE TEAM SO FAR, WE NEED HELP CHEERING THE GIRLS ON AND HELP WITH THE TEAM,  THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT PARENTS CAN HELP WITH.

WE NEED HELP WITH:

*SNACKS

*FIELD SET UP

*DUG OUT LINE UP

*VOLUNTEERS FOR SCORE KEEPING AND UMPIRES

EVERY PARENT WILL BE ASKED TO PROVIDE SNACK AT A GAME.  EACH PARENT WILL TAKE TURNS.  THE COACHES WILL PROVIDE A LIST OF THE PARENTS NAME AND DATE/GAME.  SNACK IDEAS INCLUDE: POPSICLES, JUICE BOXES, WATER, LITTLE DEBBIE SNACKS, PRETZELS, CHIPS, PEANUT BUTTER CRACKERS.  PLEASE NO HOME MADE SNACKS

 BEFORE EVERY HOME GAME, HOME TEAM NEEDS TO SET UP THE FIELD.  WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP ASSIT COACHES WITH THIS AS COACHES WILL BE BUSY HELPING THE GIRLS WARM UP FOR THE GAME.  DADS, THIS IS A GREAT ONE FOR YOU!

COACHES ARE USED OUT ON THE FIELDTO HELP KIDS STAY FOCUSED AND "RUNNING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION."  WE WILL NEED SOMEONE KEEPING THE GIRLS IN ORDER COMING OUT OF THE DUGOUTS.  THIS PERSON NEEDS TO BE CALM AND FOCUSED!

THE TEAM ALSO NEEDS TO PROVIDE SCORE KEEPERS AND UMPIRES FOR THE GAMES.  IF WE DO NOT, WE FORFEIT.  THE LEAGUE OFFERS TRAINING FOR BOTH.  COACHES WILL HAVE THE NFORMATION ON THESE TRAININGS.  DATES WILL ALSO BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE.

Uniform Info for Parents!!!!! 

Parents are required to provide the following items for the girls’ uniforms:

·       Socks ( undecided, to be voted on)

·       Cleats ( any brand, any color)

·       Shorts (black)

*Remember, all girls must match.  Shorts must be same color and socks need to be the same.  They can wear any brand and color in cleats.

*Last year we had bows made for the girls’ hair.  They were very cute and the girls loved them.  Let us know if you would like to do this again.  They are custom made just for the Cardinals by Pam’s Bows and N Things
